Two of my short plays, Curse the Darkness and Second Look, will both be part of the Firehouse Center for the Arts’ New Works Festival in January 2013.  The festival runs from January 18-26 (I’m not sure of the exact dates my work will be on stage yet) in Newburyport, MA.  I’m excited to get to see both plays again–Second Look was in the Boston Theater Marathon earlier this year, but just had one performance.  And Curse the Darkness has been produced quite a bit around the country, but I’ve only seen it once, at the Black Box Theatre in Rhode Island.  For me, half the fun of writing plays is getting to see how various different theatres interpret and produce them.
