I do a lot of things both for fun and money. Lately, I've been hiring myself out as a handyman for small jobs. This might seem like an odd thing for a writer to do, but I like working with my hands and after owning 9 houses and being a landlord for a number of years, I've gained a lot of experience. I know how hard it is to find someone trustworthy and reliable to do small repairs.
Types of work I do:
- Caulking and weather sealing
- Drywall repair
- General repairs
- Hanging pictures and hooks
- Minor carpentry
- Painting and spackling
- Small appliance repair
- Unclog drains
- Window repairs
For now, I only work near or around Brookline (within 7 miles of home), because I don't have a car (but I do have a bike trailer to help me haul my tools). I charge on a time and materials basis and can usually give an estimate over the phone or via email. I can provide references upon request.
If you have a small job that you need done, email me at pat@gabridge.com, and we can see if I'm a good match for what you need.
